Live Edge Black Walnut with Maple Tree Branch Legs

1st problem to be solved was how to get the warping curve out of my cool piece of black walnut.

Second will be building some interesting legs out of the maple tree that feel down a few years ago.

The Piece of black walnut was too wide to fit through a standard planer and delineated too wide for a jointer.

Solution:  My father build me a "box" and we got some metal rails to set up a sled system to help flatten the piece (does not need to be perfect - its a random weird piece of wood and will never be perfect).

Cut off the end and lots more sanding.

Adding the Poly sure make the color so rich!

And the piece of glass for it fits perfect!
